What is Redemption Daily Prayer?
Redemption Daily Prayer is an evolving series of guided prayer experiences that support you in your personal growth. Ideal for individuals or groups working through the Redemption book, or for preparation before, or follow-through after experiencing a Redemption Group.
Most of our guided prayer experiences are influenced by prayer liturgies in the Anglican tradition.
Here’s an audio interview between Mike Wilkerson and Father Seth Brooker, discussing some frequently asked questions.
- Preparing for a Redemption Group experience
Praying through each section of the Redemption can help you prepare to get the most of the group experience. For example, you could begin eighteen days before a Redemption Group Immersion, and pray through one per day, going through the whole cycle twice before your group begins.
- Walking it out after a Redemption Group experience
Change is a lifelong process, while a Redemption Group experience is only a brief catalyst for that process. Shaping practices like this prayer program can help you continue growing in the areas where some new growth may have began in your group process.
- Pray with friends
A huge emphasis for us at Redemption Group Network is to cultivate redemptive community, where friends in community learn to walk with one another through the deepest matters of life. These prayer guides could be a great format for connecting with friends to continue a journey together. Consider using the audio guide together, praying through it out loud together, and then pausing the audio program after the scripture meditation to do some personal sharing before concluding the prayer guide together.
