We’ve been working hard on developing our podcast, Redemption Walk. Here’s a preview of one episode. Please submit any feedback you can using the form below.
In this episode, Daniel Teater and I hear and respond to Brett’s story with our guest Pete Sondergeld, a pastor from Toowoomba in Australia. Recorded in the midst of the June 2016 Redemption Group Immersion in Ft. Worth, Texas.
It’s a rough edit. We’re still experimenting with the the production, editing and even the overall format. But it will give a glimpse of what we’re up to. We’d appreciate your feedback on this to help us make it better.
A couple of changes we already have in mind for our upcoming round of episodes:
- We’ll have a couple of additional friends joining me and Daniel on the show, Jane and Amanda. We think it’s important that both men and women voices are heard together one way or another. Probably we’ll have a slowly rotating group of friends on the show interacting with each other and the stories, similar to how the NPR Politics podcast involves a slowly rotating diverse group of 3–4 show hosts.
- We’re working on our best practices for how we interview, produce and record the stories, and we’re looking for more stories. If you’d like to tell your story through the podcast, please let us know. Also, if you’re interested in helping as a story producer (helping others to tell their stories, interviewing and recording for use on the show), let us know!
(Oh, and since this is still in “beta”, please don’t splash it around the internet—we’re not ready to launch the podcast yet. We’re just making this early pilot episode available to make it easy to connect with more storytellers and to get feedback from listeners. So have a listen, let us know what you think, and let us know if you’d like to be a storyteller in a future episode!)
